Collection: Maison Berger

Catalytic Home Fragrance Lamps

The Lampe Berger is a room deodorizer and home fragrance diffuser all in one.

Trusted by French hospitals and households for over a century, our patented technology is far preferable to a typical
oil fragrance based lamp, as it more efficiently and evenly disperses our heavenly home fragrance while very effectively eradicating bacteria and eliminating unwanted odor.

A Lampe Berger is also intended to act as a decorative sculpture. Created by some of the world's most renowned designers, each unique object will elicit a specific feeling, and will add to the beauty and mood of your home.

120 Years of History

Designed in 1898 to purify the air in hospitals, the small catalytic lamp created by pharmacy dispenser Maurice Berger, quickly became very popular with the public. Redesigned by famous designers, embraced by leading figures from the art community (Coco Chanel, Picasso, Colette and Jean Cocteau), it was then fitted with a perfuming function and gradually became a style icon, appreciated for its sleek design and its delicate fragrances.

The Lampe Berger is a functional and attractive accessory which has spanned the years, purifying indoor air and acting as a room deodorizer adding an elegant or contemporary touch to every home. In view of this popularity, Maurice Berger’s successors decided to continue to embellish indoor air and developed new rituals with candles, scented bouquets and many more.

Our rich and varied collection, based on exceptional fragrances, is a real tribute to French tradition and know-how. Our in-house perfumer (our "Nose") picks out future trends and studies and approves the proposals from our master perfumers based in Grasse (South of France).
